Economy
In spite of everything, it’s the agricultural activities which keep the economy of this ancient land alive, in particular the cultivation of cereals (grain, corn and oats) and fruit, especially grapes, from which a high quality wine is made. The breeding of sheep also plays an important part with their meat, milk and derivates.

The landscape is typical of the Apennines with a prevalence of oaks, poplars and a rich variety of game among which wild boars, deer, hares and pheasants. |
